Electrical Geysers
One area every household is likely to encounter problems at some stage is the hot water systems, whether electrical or solar. You at some stage will either not have hot water or you may have a leaking geyser or you may have a tripping geyser circuit breaker. You would need the services of a plumber for any of those, we are equiped to handle geyser repairs and should you need the geyser replaced we are more than capable. The Geyser has an element which heats up the water, a thermostat which regulates the temperature and a safety valve which senses overheating. A safety valve when it senses the geyser overheating it will open up and discharge the hot water into the drip tray, this will serve as an indicator that the geyser needs to be fixed.

Solar Geysers
Water heating can be up to between 40% and 50% of your electrical bills, by turning to solar geysers you will slash a
major chunk of that cost. It is a bit pricey when you do the installation but in the long term you will get the return.
There are two types of solar geyser systems, the direct one which comes with a manifold of tubes, this is ideal for
area that are generally warmer and the indirect system which comes with a glass collector which uses the anti freeze
to protect the system in the event of extreme cold temperatures.
Now retrofits of the solar system can be done on the existing solar geysers.

Burst Pipes
These often you will actually see the water that will be coming out of the pipe, either the joint will be coming off or the pipe itself will crack open.
Water Leak Detection
You can have an underground leak, often these are under paving or Concrete when the water will just be lost into the ground for you only to get a shock at the end of the month when you get an unsually high water bill. A rough test for a water leak, close all the water outlets and go check your meter outside. If you do not have a leak the meter will not move if everything is closed, however if your meter still moves when you have closed every water outlet then it means there is a leak somewhere on your fresh water pipes. You will need to call a water leak specialist.
